Executive Director
Greenwood Neighbourhood Place Society – Executive Director
We are a non-profit organization located in the town of Sundre, Alberta, that provides resources, support, programs, and referrals for Sundre and surrounding area. Our success is based on providing support, resources and programs that will enhance the quality of life in our community.
We require a highly motivated, team-oriented leader with a flair for public relations, community networking and strong business management skills. Your vision will contribute to the maintenance of current initiatives and provide a solid foundation for future growth.

The successful candidate will:

Be a well-organized and enthusiastic individual

Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills – someone who can encourage, engage, and motivate dedicated staff to maintain excellence in a demanding environment

Have practical understanding of Board governance and sound non-profit management

Ensure effective financial management, budgeting, financial controls, and reporting

Be a competent and willing public speaker

Experience in grant writing and reporting

Have a proven ability to work collaboratively with the Board, staff, funding agencies and members of the community
-
Have the capacity and motivation to consult with all levels of government
-
Have the ability to multitask and work with creativity, passion and a sense of humour
Qualifications

A strong combination of relevant post-secondary education (Community Development, Human Services, Business Management, or other related education) and/or experience in non-profit program management (a minimum of 3 years is preferred)

Salary to start at $28/hour. This position is for 28 hours per week with a start date of June 1, 2025. This is an in-person position, located in our office space in Sundre, Alberta.
