Job Title: Volunteer, Children’s & Family Programs Coordinator

Location: Sundre, Alberta

Position Type: Part-Time / Year-Round

This role consists of 12 hrs. per week.

Start Date: January 2026

Remuneration: Dependent on experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, organized individual to coordinate our volunteer program and support year-round children’s and family programming.

Volunteer, Children’s & Family Programs Coordinator

This role involves recruiting and retaining volunteers, planning volunteer appreciation activities, and coordinating engaging programs for children aged 6–12 and families. You’ll support volunteers, collaborate with local agencies, maintain online content, assist with communication, and contribute to annual program evaluations. In addition, you’ll help design and deliver meaningful programs that build connection and a sense of belonging for children and families throughout the year.

Key Skills:

Strong organizational and planning abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in program coordination and volunteer management
Comfortable with social media and online content updates
Passion for community engagement and working with children and families
