Greenwood Neighbourhood Place provides personalized support and advocacy for adults, helping individuals navigate complex systems and access available resources such as housing and income supports. While we work alongside clients to guide, connect, and advocate, we are not a government agency and do not have decision-making authority over programs or benefits.

Greenwood Neighbourhood Place is a trusted community organization dedicated to providing personalized support and advocacy for adults and seniors. Our knowledgeable specialists help individuals identify available supports, navigate complex systems, and access essential benefits such as housing, income support, and financial assistance.
While we are not a government agency and do not make eligibility decisions, our role is to guide, support, and advocate—ensuring you have the information and assistance needed to move forward with confidence.
We provide support in a wide range of areas, including:
Alberta Health Care applications for new Albertans
Income Support and Adult Health Benefit applications
Housing applications
Provincial and federal seniors’ benefits
Special Needs Assistance for Seniors
Dental and optical assistance for seniors
Old Age Security (OAS), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS), and other federal and provincial support programs
Appointments are available every Wednesday and Thursday.
